BOOK LAUNCH AND AUTHOR SIGNING – TONY ASTON – THE BOMBER AND THE WEATHERVANE

Following on from the highly successful illustrated talk given by Tony to a packed hall at the International Bomber Command Centre in March, his new book, “The Bomber and the Weathervane”, will be officially launched on Saturday 27th July at the IBCC between 10.30am and 2.30pm.

Tony will be selling and signing books on the day. It is also hoped that Helen Theron, owner of the weathervane and from whom the story originated, and Mike Osborne, who in the book describes flying in the Canadian Lancaster FM213 VeRA in 2014, will also be present.

Once all publishing costs have been met, it is intended that profits from the book will be donated to the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund.

Come and visit this world-class centre, dedicated to the memory and achievements of Bomber Command. I look forward to meeting, and chatting to, many of you there.
