    Charity Football Match - RAF Lincolnshire V Lincoln Legends

    19.00 - 21.00Lincoln City FC, Sincil Bank, Lincoln

    A unique charity match between RAF Lincolnshire and the Lincoln Legends - a team made up of players from the Imps teams of the past.

    The match will take place at Lincoln City's home ground, Sincil Bank.

    The event is raising funds for both the IBCC's Educational and Outreach work and the LCFC Foundation, supporting community sports and development.

    Last year's inaugural event, which saw over 300 bikers from around the UK enjoying a visit to the centre, entertainment from the Bomber Belles, an opportunity to meet the veterans and a host of other activities, was a resounding success and so the team are delighted to be working with the Dambusters Charity Motorcycle team for a bigger and better event in 2019.

    D-Day 75 Concert at Terry O'Toole Theatre

    Following the International Bomber Command Centre’s themes of Recognition, Remembrance and Reconciliation, the IBCC Orchestra & Choir bring to life the personal endeavour and sacrifice of those on both sides of a conflict to free Europe from tyranny. Using letters and films from the IBCC archives, combined with music and narrative, a picture is painted of the activities to aid the landing of troops on the beaches on D Day June 6th 1944. 

    Adults: £12.50 to £13.50
