A Musical Journey of the IBCC – Saturday 6th July Doors open at 7.00pm and event starts at 7.30pm  at The Beonna at All Saints, Benington, Boston, Lincolnshire, PE22 0BT

The IBCC Choir and Orchestra debuted during the opening ceremony on April 12, 2018, though its inception traces back to October 2, 2015, during the monument’s arrival ceremony. This event, blending captivating visuals, film, and archival material from the IBCC, offers a vivid narrative of the IBCC’s formation from a musical standpoint.

Featuring newly commissioned pieces, the concert and talk illuminate the contributions of countless musicians and the seamless integration of their efforts with the IBCC’s development to the present day. From the initial seeds planted at the monument’s arrival to the grandeur of the opening ceremony, attendees will embark on a journey through time, witnessing the evolution of the IBCC through the lens of music.

This immersive experience promises to unveil the intricate threads that weave together the IBCC’s rich tapestry, celebrating its journey from conception to fruition. Join us as we unravel the story behind the music, exploring the symbiotic relationship between creativity and commemoration within the IBCC’s remarkable legacy.
