Join us for an enchanting Mother’s Day event featuring the captivating Lili Redman, the Songbird of Trafalgar Square, celebrated for her vintage flair and mesmerising voice.

Lili has enjoyed over 20 years of performing vintage tunes in her inimitable style on stages worldwide.  This special performance is a heart warming tribute to mothers, the atmosphere warm and nostalgic. Known for her impeccable style and evocative vocals, Lili brings classic songs to life with elegance and charm, taking you on a journey through timeless melodies and heartfelt lyrics. Perfect for families looking to celebrate together, this event promises laughter, memories, and beautifully sung tunes that honour the magic (and the mishaps) of motherhood. Wings and Wheels

Wings and Wheels – Sunday 7th September, 10.00 – 4.00pm

Join the teams from the IBCC and Aviation Heritage Lincolnshire as we bring together the motorised heritage of the county.

This free family event celebrates the heritage that is to be found across “Bomber County”.

Meet the teams of staff and volunteers who share a passion for aviation, heritage and Lincolnshire. Representatives and stalls from many regional aviation sites will be exhibiting, come and find out what they do and how they are keeping our heritage alive.

Alongside the aviation we are delighted to welcome Classic Cars and Bikes from across the region and beyond.

Our award winning Learning team will be running free craft activities and trails throughout the event.

Wings and Wheels is a charity fundraising event for the IBCC and we would be grateful for your continued support.  We are asking for Voluntary Contributions  for car/bike pitches of £10.00 to support our remembrance, education and outreach work.  Gift Aiding this donation adds to this support as the charity will receive 25% extra from the Government, at no cost to you. You must be a UK taxpayer to do this.

Salute to the 40’s Weekend

Join us for our free annual Salute to the 40’s weekend at the IBCC, 9th – 10th August. It gets bigger and better every year!

Come along and enjoy tea and cake on vintage crockery in the Marquee while listening to our wide variety of 40’s entertainment. Stroll around the grounds and chat to all our Re-enactors or treat yourself to something stylish and vintage from one of the many trade stands. Vehicle enthusiasts will be wowed by our selection of 1940s cars and military vehicles. With talks on bomb disposal and Mission briefings there really is something for everyone!

On Saturday 10th, join us for a fabulous free Glen Miller concert with Kal’s Kats, from 2.00.

Entry is Free (Parking charges apply which can be paid for at reception on arrival)

The staff & volunteers at the IBCC are ready to welcome you for a fabulous weekend of 40’s Fun!

Our Exhibition will be open each day and tickets are available here

The Hub Café & IBCC Gift Shop will be open throughout the weekend.

The Learning Team will be here from 10am to 4pm on Saturday 10th August and Sunday 11th August. They will running free children’s activities ensuring the whole family can join in the fun.

40’s BBQ – As part of our FREE Salute to the 40’s weekend we are running a series of bookable events including, on Friday 11th August, 6.00 – 9.00pm:

Join us for a delicious BBQ as part of our Salute to the 40’s weekend.  A wide range of displays around the extensive gardens including vintage vehicles and re-enactors will be available to see.

This year Johnny brings us his Cabaret show so, put on your dancing shoes as Johnny will be encouraging you to jump up and jive to his swinging sounds. If you’re not a dancer just sit back, relax and enjoy the music as Johnny takes you on a Sentimental journey.

IBCC Blackout Blitz Ball – Saturday 10th August 2024, 7.30pm to midnight

As part of our FREE Salute to the 40’s weekend we are running a series of bookable events including, on Saturday 10th August, 7.30 – midnight:

An evening of fun and frolics with the Kalamazoo Band whilst also enjoying a fabulous 2 course dinner. A fantastic showman, Kal never disappoints, so book your tickets now so you don’t miss out!

Join us in the Marquee for music and our special IBCC vintage afternoon tea served on our best china! Sit back and enjoy the dulcet tones of Samantha, the ENSA singer, as she brings us her 40’s favourites.
