Becoming a friend of the IBCC helps to support the work of the project in education, outreach and community engagement as well as providing members with discounts, special offers and an opportunity to work with the team to help shape the future of the project.

  • ensure that the service and sacrifice of those who served and the suffering of those beneath the bombs is remembered.
  • protect and preserve almost 250,000 Bomber Command Heritage items in the IBCC Digital Archive so that they can be shared, for free, across the world.
  • build the most comprehensive record of Bomber Command’s losses in the world, which is now a resource for Ancestry.com and FindMyPast.com.
  • deliver an award-winning Learning and Outreach programme that has seen over 12,000 children hosted at the site.
  • Continue our environmental and sustainability programme which has seen over 4,000 trees and shrubs planted across the 10-acre site.
  • fund our volunteer programme to ensure that our volunteers feel valued and appreciated.
