Kathryn Leahy has over 25 years of experience in the aviation and risk management industry. Kathryn started her career at AIG as a Risk Management Specialist and then moved on to Virgin Atlantic, where she held various managerial positions in risk and insurance.

She then transitioned to Heathrow Airport, where she served as Director in various operational roles. Currently, she hold the position of Chief Operations Officer at NATS and has also been a Non-Executive Director in the company. Her career progression showcases a strong background in risk management and operations within the aviation sector.

Kathryn Leahy attended Glasgow Caledonian University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Risk Management.

She was awarded an OBE in 2023 for services to aviation transport and major events
