We welcome all visitors and aim to make our visitor experience accessible to all. We hope that the following information helps you to plan your visit and ensures you have a memorable experience at the International Bomber Command Centre.

Opening Times

The Chadwick Centre, Peace Gardens, Spire Memorial and Walls of Names

  • Open 6 days a week 9.30am-5pm (last entry to the Exhibition 4pm)
  • Closed Mondays (except Bank Holidays)
  • Closed from 24th December to 27th December 2019 and 31st December 2019 and 1st January 2020

Access to the Peace Gardens and Memorial is free of charge

Parking – £3 per car per day.  These parking charges help to maintain the free access to the Gardens and Memorial.

Food and Drink

  • The Hub Café offers a locally-sourced selection of tempting treats, including Bomber Beans coffee, Bomber Brew tea and variety of herbal teas, cakes, paninis, sandwiches, quiches and our Daily Dish.  
  • The Hub is licensed and stocks a range of wines and local beers.
  • Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available
  • Special Ration Packs are available for our younger visitors, with a range of wholesome options.
  • The Café is open from 9.30am to 4.30pm.


  • The shop stocks a wide range of souvenirs, books, clothing and gifts to tempt the whole family.
  • Pocket-money priced gifts are available for children.
