How to get to the IBCC

The IBCC is located 2.6 miles to the south of the centre of Lincoln and is close to the villages of Canwick and Bracebridge Heath.

The post code for the IBCC is LN4 2HQ (Googlemaps have not yet updated our postcode)

By Car:

Access to the site is from Canwick Avenue B1131, (opposite a Premier Inn and Beefeater Restaurant).  We recommend approaching from Bracebridge Heath (A15) and turning left into the site.

Please note: Bardney Bridge will be closed from the 15th April to 5th July or the majority of this time,  with motorists diverted via Metheringham, Woodhall Spa and Horncastle. Please allow extra time for your journey if travelling on this route.

Bus routes:

Stagecoach operate the 31 and 31x services from Lincoln’s Transport Hub to Sleaford which stop on Canwick Hill.  There is a pedestrian access to the site opposite the bus stop.  Please do take care when crossing Canwick Hill as the road is busy.

Brylaine also operate a service (IC5) between the City and Boston which uses the same stop.

There is a taxi rank at Lincoln Transport Hub.  It costs in the region of £5 depending on the time of day.

There are two pedestrian entrances – one from the Viking Way and one from the Bus stop on Canwick Hill.  if you are planning to walk from the City you should allow 20-30 minutes.

Access to the site is via the main entrance or from the Pedestrian access on Canwick Hill (there are some shallow steps here).  Cycle racks are provided at the front of the building.
