THE CENTRE IS NOW FULLY OPEN.

IN ORDER TO KEEP ALL OUR GUESTS AND TEAM SAFE, NUMBERS ON SITE ARE BEING LIMITED AND SESSIONS, BY ARRIVAL TIME, MUST BE PRE-BOOKED HERE PASSES

THE MOST POPULAR TIME OF THE DAY IS 11.30 – 13.00, SO PLEASE CONSIDER BOOKING YOUR PASSES FOR THE EARLIER OR LATER SLOTS

In order to keep all our guests and team members safe we have introduced the following measures:

·    Pre-opening training sessions for all centre staff and volunteers

·    Pre-booking of tickets, tours and parking to reduce interaction with pay points and reception staff at the centre

·    Signage reminding people to socially distance, wash hands, use contactless payments will be prominently displayed

·    Social distancing markers applied to floors

·    One-way system around the centre marked on floors and accompanied by maps distributed to all staff and visitors.  Also made available through the web site and social media

·    Gallery and site sentinels reminding people to distance and advise on routes and protocols

·    Shop redesigned to help with flow of visitors

·    Designated points for shop and café ordering, payment and collection marked on plans and signs

·    New layout in the cafe to ensure social distancing

·    Additional seating areas in the gardens

·    Additional cleaning programme, four times a day

·    Spit guards at every pay point

·    Desk separators installed in main office

·    New workstations created to ensure social distancing

·    Alcohol wipes for use on exhibition equipment, lift controls, telephones and office equipment

·    Styluses provided for every member of reception and café team to prevent cross infection from touch screen tills

·    Cash isolation system with trays being rotated every three days

·    Provision of varying sized non latex gloves for service staff

·    Masks for use by the whole team, subject to Government guidance at the time.

·    Hand sanitizer and accompanying signage at entrances, reception, cafe and in all exhibition galleries

·    Introduction of remote microphones for all tour guides to allow social distancing

·    Individual microphone covers for all tour guides

·    Two-way radios to enable guides, marshals and staff to communicate safely

·    Replacement of ceramic condiment trays with single use sachets
