Miscellaneous Information
Peter was born on 3 June 1918 at Glasgow, Scotland. His father died in 1935 and Peter had no siblings. He spent two years at High School and also went to the O’Sullivan College of Business Administration in Montreal where he took a four year course. They lived at St. Lambert, Quebec. He worked as an Audit clerk for two years. His hobbies were golf and tennis. |
Peter enlisted on 5 April 1940 and after training embarked from New York for the U.K. He arrived at 3 PRC on 18 March 1943 and then went on to 26 OTU 13 April 1943, 1651 CU and then 199 Squadron on 18 August 1943. Sadly Peter lost his life on 4 November 1943 and has no known grave. |
